There are many construction sites where, during sprayed mortar or formwork work, workers are told not to cut down trees standing right next to the formwork.
There’s a concept of not cutting down standing trees in order to incorporate nature as it is into the construction, but,
To be honest, this is a super tough job, lol.
Spraying while avoiding the trees is really tough!
Is it the consulting firm pushing for this? Or is it the government agency? Or is it the local community to begin with??
Well, I don't know, but even though they're going to all this trouble to protect the slope, they're not cutting down the trees that are shaking the ground...
As this tree continues to grow, it will push against the sprayed mortar and the retaining wall, causing cracks.
The growth power of trees is incredible!
To prevent this from happening as early as possible, I recommend pruning the branches.

To put it bluntly, without leaves, the growth rate drops significantly.
If possible, just cut right through the center of the trunk—that’ll make it harder for new shoots to grow from the top, lol.
Well, since they're telling me to leave it as is, there's a chance I won't end up cutting much, but,
If we can stop the tree's growth early on, it will be less likely to develop cracks, and
Removing as many trees as possible from the slope will help prevent landslides.
