Temporary Repairs for Seals in Spray Machines | On-Site Solutions

Hello, everyone.

This is Enta.

What do you do when the gasket on the side cover of a spray machine wears out?

Spray Machine, Boiler Lid

The gasket on this lid tends to wear out pretty often, doesn't it?

When there are no replacement gaskets, we have to proceed with the work while hearing a hissing sound, but air leaks do affect the work.

There’s a way to handle situations like that. (Someone actually pushed it for me.)

Spray Machine Gasket

This is what the worn-out gasket looks like.

There are things right around us that work just fine for a while even without using a gasket.

That's a rag.

What's more, they're not knitted wipes—they're towel wipes.

Towel Wipes

Open the lid and place a cloth inside.

If possible, it's better to use two layers.

Rags as a substitute for gaskets

It looks something like this.

This causes the mortar inside to stick to the towel, and the towel absorbs the moisture from the mortar.

Well, it's similar to a packer used in ground anchors. (Dehydration)

This will prevent the air from escaping.

This is only a temporary fix, so we recommend replacing the gasket as soon as possible.

See you later.

By the way, Amazon has towel wipes at pretty reasonable prices.

Actually, when you consider things like shipping costs and how quickly it arrives, Amazon is probably the way to go.

You can find towel wipes at Workman stores nearby.
