It really feels like fall now, and the weather has become much more pleasant.
The next two months or so are a lovely time of year, aren't they?
Work is crazy busy, but I've been thinking about trying my hand at some IoT stuff lately.
I was thinking about posting our in-house construction team’s schedule on our company website using a Gantt chart...
If we post something like this on our company website, maybe the general contractor won't have to call us every time about the construction crew's schedule?
That's what I thought, lol
It's not that I'm telling you not to call, but it's easier to understand if you look at the schedule, right?
Since we're the general contractor, we naturally have a clear understanding of the schedule, so when Team 1 from Enta becomes available here, we can assign them to that site...
Wouldn't that make it easier to plan things out??
That's just what I think.
Well, basically, my main focus is on process management at our own worksites.
That would make it easier to both receive and place orders, wouldn't it?
The question is, how do we get that online?
It's not really ideal to make people go through the trouble of downloading a PDF, is it?
It would be great if I could just open a website and see the process at a glance, but it seems there isn't a public service like that available at the moment.
There are services that use a Gantt chart format and are visible only to registered users.
I'd like to figure out how to post this online. Analog flowcharts and IoT.
I imagine services like that will become available eventually, and it seems to me that 5G will bring about tremendous changes in society.
From this year through next year, many connected businesses utilizing IoT (Internet of Things) will emerge.
What do we at Slope House connect to using IoT?
What kind of data do you use from the slope?
For example, sending real-time updates to the company on how many times the spray machine’s exhaust was released (pssh, lol).
This is true for things like the motor's operating hours as well; it allows us to clearly determine when parts and other components need to be replaced.
Since I've been using it for ○○ hours, this part—the gasket over there—is about to wear out.
If the machinery maintenance technician is aware of the issue, they might say, “Well, I’ll send you a gasket,” for example. (The same goes for anchor installers.)
Spray Machine → IoT → Machine Maintenance Technician
Let's try thinking about what might happen if this or that were to happen.
The future you create will definitely come true!!
