You've probably heard the term "air cleaning" in the context of spray application, right?
You've probably seen photos of air cleaning being performed like this.
Well, to be honest, I think you're probably like, "What on earth is this all about?" lol
To put it simply, it uses compressed air to blow away material loss that falls off during spraying (cement and sand separated from the mortar) as well as sand from the subgrade.
It looks something like this.

Here's what it looks like in the video. (This is a temporary structure, so there's no drywall or anything like that.)
We use compressed air from the compressor to blow away debris and sand.
The reason for discarding them is part of our consistent quality control process.
Dirt can lead to reduced strength and poor finish, so be sure to clean thoroughly.
