Small Gestures and Ingenuity | The First Place to Rust on a Car Frame

Hello, everyone.

This is Enta.

Do you know what the "3K" means these days?

The old "3K" stood for "Hard, Dirty, and Dangerous."

The "3K" these days stands for "Salary, Vacation, and Aspirations."

That's what I've heard.

I find myself wondering, “What do you mean, ‘last hope’???”, but,

As long as young people are interested, that's good enough.

An article about a site visit was posted on the Construction News blog.

Article from the Construction News

High school students are observing the drilling of anchor holes.

Experiences like this are really important, aren't they?

Just as I thoughtIt's important for people to knowI think so.

I'd definitely love to try that at our site too~ lol (Depends on the general contractor, lol)

But that's beside the point.

Hoping that even the smallest things can lead to creativity and ingenuity,

I'm submitting it lol

For example,

Where is the first place to rust on a car frame?

・Tick-tock, tick-tock

・Tick-tock, tick-tock

That's right!These are cable ties.

Because the wires are thin, they are easily affected by wind and rain, and

Also, because it has a small surface area, it rusts after just one rain shower.

So, that...Use plated binding wireI will.

So, while the rebar is now the part that rusts first,

Reinforcing bars do not oxidize (rust) for about a week (depending on conditions), so,

Please complete the spray application by then.

Just that alone makes this frame resistant to rust.

That's all there is to it.

Even small things can lead to creative solutions on the job.

Some people say this is just standard procedure for government agencies, but,

Lately, I’ve been thinking that just coming up with creative ideas for my own satisfaction might be enough, lol.

When we retire and become old men, if we were to see that structure...

I'll definitely remember it.

"Thinking things like, 'That job was really tough,' or 'I did this, I did that...'"

Structures that are both self-satisfying (and can be built at low cost) and of high quality, and that will benefit future generations,

I'd like to start building a legal framework and establishing some anchors.

See you later.
