There's no work, lol.

There's really no work this year!!

What do you guys do at times like this? lol

I guess I'll just have to try to land contracts with general contractors or do machine maintenance, right?

Our place is getting cleaner and cleaner thanks to equipment maintenance and warehouse cleanup.

I have some free time, too, but this time of year I’m running all over the place for safety meetings and general meetings, so I’m not really free—but it feels kind of... well, something’s missing when I don’t have work to do.

Since I hadn't been doing this at all lately, I printed the logo on my air-conditioned work clothes.

Every once in a while, it might be good to go back to basics like this and review what I used to do.

I hear this kind of thing in all sorts of places—that every prefecture is struggling.

It seems like things are busy only in the Hokuriku region, but since contractors from other prefectures aren't allowed in, it doesn't really affect us.

Those of you who have jobs, please do your best at your work, and those of you who don't have jobs, let's work on machine maintenance and do whatever we can right now!

As public works contractors, we’re inevitably at the mercy of government contracts, so there’s nothing we can do about it, but it’s really tough when there aren’t enough of them.

It must be tough for the general contractor, but we subcontractors don't have that much leeway either, so it's really tough for us, isn't it?

Anyway, for now, I just need to do my best with what I can do.

Let's make sure we're ready to handle whatever comes up right away when work comes in!
