Simple Tension Management | Improving Anchor Installation Efficiency

Hello, everyone.

This is Enta.

Do you know how to collect data on simple stress management?

There are times when the final data from qualification tests or verification tests just doesn't add up, right?

Or if it falls outside the range of the upper and lower limits.

Stress Management Status

Back in the day, I used to run cycle tests over and over without giving it a second thought, but it turns out I didn't really need to do that at all lol.

Looking back now, my younger days were filled with nothing but pointless activities...

However, because I took it for granted and never questioned it, I ended up wasting my time on nothing but pointless tasks.

Elastic displacement is not included

So, what I'm trying to say is, when you conduct suitability tests—like multi-cycle tests—there are times when the results fall outside the specified range, right?

An inexperienced director would probably panic right away!

Especially when government officials are present.

It's okay! Don't panic!!

Please think back to what the key points are when conducting cycle testing.

Make sure the anchor isn't loose!

As long as this is okay, there's no problem.

If there is a problem, it lies in the testing method.

There is no need to repeat the multi-cycle test.

Initial load – Planned maximum load (be sure to verify creep) – Initial load

Please carry this out.

If the dial gauge starts moving rapidly when the maximum rated load is applied, please wait.

Once the elongation of the PC steel strand has stabilized, reset it to its initial value and take the final reading!

Please subtract the initial load from the maximum load.

Is it within the upper and lower limits?

If it's contained, there's no problem.

If it hasn't settled, there is a problem with the testing method.

The position of the dial gauge, how to set the reference point, and so on.

In the worst-case scenario, check to see if the PC strands are interfering with anything.

It's best to just come clean and tell the government everything.

Measuring 0.01 millimeters out here,

We're doing this in windy conditions, so all kinds of things happen!

Sometimes it just doesn't work out.

Just say that.

And as long as you try the test described above and pass it, you're all set. (In the case of an on-site inspection)

Actually, the hardest part of managing stress is creating the data!!! (rolls eyes)

Feel free to manage your nerves with confidence!

See you later.
