Hello, everyone.
This is Enta.
How do you apply the mortar within the formwork?

Should we spray them at the same time? Or should we spray them separately?
I actually wrote about this topic before, lol.
In this post, I’d like to write about the pros and cons.
Spray the formwork first, then spray the mortar inside the formwork.
Benefits
It becomes easier to measure the finished dimensions of the formwork. (Beam cross-section: length and width)
(Is there anything else besides this??)
Demerit
Increased Costs for Protective Covering Within the Frame
The bond between the frame and the mortar within the frame breaks, causing efflorescence (white deposits).
Grass grows where the roots have been severed
Prone to cracking
Increased Costs for Cleaning Inside the Frame
Spray the formwork and the mortar inside the formwork simultaneously
Benefits
Reducing Material Waste
Reducing the Cost of Protective Covering Within the Frame
Since the connections aren't broken, the overall strength is ↑↑↑
The finished product has a sense of cohesion (my personal opinion)
Shorter construction time (I think this is the biggest factor!)
It's coming together bit by bit, starting from the top!
Demerit
It’s a hassle when the area inside the frame is specified for shotcrete! Change it to mortar or obtain construction approval (design change).

When you put it that way, there really aren't many downsides to playing both at the same time, are there?
On the other hand, the benefits of spraying them at the same time are just too great.
What do you all think?
See you later.
