This is the repair work we've been doing on the grout mixer since the other day.

Before I knew it, all the paint had been stripped off...

I didn't really have any plans like that, lol

I guess it'll be good practice...

 

There were holes here and there, so I was going to weld them shut, but if the voltage isn't right, a hole opens up instantly.

So, I’ll lower the voltage and carefully fill in the holes to prevent them from forming.

I’m supposed to fill in the hole by gradually narrowing it from the outside in, but I’m still not quite sure how to do even that.

First, I'll show you how to do it.

I drew a diagram on the whiteboard, then demonstrated it in practice. And then I had them try it themselves. (Just like Isoroku Yamamoto! lol)

Since I’d been doing that in dozens of places, I’d gotten a lot better over the past few days lol

Human progress is truly amazing, isn't it!

However, it seems people have their own preferences—some like chiseling, some like painting, and some like welding.

They really do separate clearly, don't they?

When it comes to topics I'm interested in, I pay very close attention and take a meticulous approach.

Otherwise, he'll just turn his back on me lol

We also completely replaced all the faulty gaskets and bearings.

Once you replace the faulty part, the machine immediately starts running smoothly and gets right back to work.

But since that’s not really possible for humans, please make sure to take adequate breaks while you work lol

If you show them how to replace each part one by one, they’ll eventually start trying it on their own.

We're out of the pink paint needed for the final coat, so we'll stop after applying the rust inhibitor.

That concludes the work for this time.

Next time, we'll move on to the final coat of paint and assembly.
