Site Management That Goes Beyond Safety Documentation | What Is Essential Safety Management?

Hello, everyone.

This is Enta.

I was preparing safety documents.

Every single time I go to a job site, I have to fill out all these stupid sub-subcontractor notification forms, commuter vehicle registration forms, and all sorts of other paperwork.

Can't you just cut it out already? lol

Document Preparation

Since each major company uses slightly different forms, even if you submit the All-Japan Construction Association’s standard form, they’ll say, “This isn’t our form.”

Wait...

The big players need to get their act together!

I think that every time, lol

There are countless subcontractors, and,Most subcontractors use the All-Japan Construction Industry Standard FormThat's exactly it.

How many times have I had to create a list of workers for each general contractor?! lol

Do you realize just how much of a waste of time this is??

Well, I totally understand why the big companies have their own unified systems.

It’s such a hassle for us when safety documents are customized—we’d much rather they were all the same across all contractors!

I don't think safety documents are something we should make a big deal out of, since they're just a given.

Isn't the Zenken Unified Standard enough?

Well, I think it's fine to submit any additional documents the company requires.

Aside from documents related to compliance and ISO, I’d like everything else to be standardized.

Don't try to be all unique with the safety documents!! lol

Safety Inspection of Slopes

These days, while construction sites can be managed centrally, and safety documentation has become easier when major companies use such systems, there are still general contractors that haven’t adopted them.

It’d be great if a major general contractor reached out to us, wouldn’t it? lol

It really does take up a lot of time dealing with safety paperwork...

See you later.

I used to work for a general contractor, and now I work for a local consulting firm, so I really understand exactly what you mean.
It's just some big company patting itself on the back (lol). It's such a pointless hassle, isn't it?
I think the government should take stock of the actual situation in this area and treat it as a much higher priority than digital transformation (DX) or ICT initiatives.

      Thank you as always.

      What a waste of time!
You're absolutely right—it would be a lot easier if we didn't have to deal with all that hassle.

It’s the same with CCUS—since we’re registered as a company, I wish they’d let us skip the safety paperwork based on that company information (number), don’t you think?
