Construction Site Hazards | Risk Management for Internal Factors, Not Just External Ones

Hello, everyone.

This is Enta.

Spray Application Conditions

What are the risks associated with spray-applied coatings and similar work during this time of year?

I'm sure all sorts of things will come to mind.

Since what you all can imagine is a future that’s entirely possible, I believe it will definitely happen, and I think we’re already prepared for it.

However, there is actually an unexpected risk here.

That is.

Sudden Lower Back Pain!

This is the one thing I couldn't have predicted!

This is especially important for those over 30!

If you're the type to say, "No way, that could never happen! It'll be fine, it'll be fine!"—you should be especially careful. (That used to be me, lol.)

People who are particularly prone to this are as follows:

1. I sometimes lift heavy things.

2. Frequent getting in and out of the car.

3. I am experiencing severe stress.

4. I have never had lower back pain.

5. Cold conditions. (Not in the sense of slipping, but the environment.)

In my experience, you should be wary of people like this.

I know some of you might think, “Number 3 has nothing to do with it,” but I can’t exactly say it has nothing to do with it, lol.

That’s because I’m a veteran of sudden lower back pain, so I have access to various resources and knowledge on the subject.

There are books that say a sudden back spasm is a manifestation of anger.

Reading this will make you go, "Whoa!" lol

Well, there are various theories out there, but what should you do when you get a sudden back spasm!?

There’s a treatment I always do when I have a sudden back spasm.

That way, you'll usually be able to recover in about a day.

That's icing.

There's no better treatment than this!

The logic is simple: “Pain → Inflammation → Apply cold → Reduce the heat from the inflammation → Heal.”

I’m sure the theory behind it is actually more complicated than that, but in any case, inflammation tends to heal more easily when you apply cold.

I can't deny that I've been icing just about everything lately, but it really does help me recover faster.

Just fill an ice pack with ice and chill it for 30 minutes. (Several times a day)

The surrounding nerves are also cooled, and the pain disappears instantly.

I recommend this even if you don't have a sudden back spasm, so please give it a try.

You never know what might happen during construction. Please stay alert at all times.

Be sure to pay attention to areas like your lower back, which you might not usually think about.

Just be aware that danger can come from inside your own body, lol.

Don't make young people carry heavy things—if they can use machines, let them use machines! (It will affect their future.)

See you later.
