I was finally able to replace most of the hanging hardware recently.
These hanging hooks are pretty flimsy, aren't they?
I'm not saying this is necessarily a bad thing, but if the retaining clip comes loose on-site, the product must not be used.
It's completely open and broken.
Since this retaining mechanism is a lever block, it’s a bit bulky, so it doesn’t usually end up like this, but there are times when it breaks for one reason or another.
If you just replace this retaining clip, you can use it again as good as new, but sometimes the hook is actually wider than you'd expect.
Those hooks without a safety catch—which used to be pretty common—are absolutely out of the question these days, right?
On the contrary, I’m wondering, “Why on earth is that even being sold??” But is private construction even allowed??
I replaced the hanging hardware in my house with this one.
This is a Martech swivel hook.
About 90% of it is this, isn't it?
I hang it from two points and use it with a loop attached.
Since the 4-point version is hard to use, I recommend the 2-point version.
The great thing about this Martech swivel hook is that it has a locking mechanism, so it’s virtually guaranteed not to come loose while it’s suspended.
Even if it were to be buffeted by strong winds (hoisting operations are not permitted in strong winds), I don't think it would come loose.

If you can buy one for around 3,000 yen, it’s a much better deal than buying a regular hook, and it’s more durable.
It has a swivel, so the wire won't get tangled.
I think this product offers both safety and cost-effectiveness.
After all, we live in an age where safety is a requirement even for a single tool we use.
