The reverse engineering project from the other day.

I gave it a try.

This is the sprocket I took off the other day.

If you print this out on a 3D printer to make a prototype, you'll be able to tell if it's good or bad.

 

Recently, there’s a material called carbon PLA—a type of plastic that contains carbon fiber.

It's slightly stronger than regular plastic, so you can make small parts with it.

If you're using it on an experimental basis, it can be quite practical as long as it's something that doesn't bear heavy loads, right?

Do you know what this is?

This is a consumable part for a certain machine.

 

Well, I think anyone who knows what I'm talking about will look at it and go, "Ah!" right away.

This kind of part is attached to the tip of the machine and is drilling holes, right?? lol

I chose a wood-grain finish, but it’s actually made of a slightly harder, heat-treated material.

 

This is strictly reverse engineering of our company's proprietary equipment.

It's actually pretty fun to try this out when you have your own machine, lol.

And when I'm doing things like this, I sometimes come up with new ideas.

To make it even more convenient!
