Lately, I'm getting sick and tired of having to do reverse-wrap installations for absolutely everything.

This project actually requires quite a bit of close cooperation among the various contractors.

Lately, it’s become common for people to say, “The earthwork is running behind, so please wait a moment,” even when the earthwork is delayed.

So, just before the earthwork was finished, they said, “It’ll be done in two days, so you absolutely have to come in and do the work!” “Absolutely!!”

That's what people tell me.

He says, “You absolutely can’t be late, so make sure you come.”

But on the other hand, if I'm running late, it's more like, "I'm running a little late—oops!"...

This is kind of weird, isn't it?

There’s a prevailing attitude that delays in earthwork are acceptable, but delays by slope contractors are not tolerated.

I certainly understand that you want to shorten the construction period as much as possible.

It’s obvious that subcontractors will stop working with general contractors who act in an excessively high-handed manner.

In this day and age, when there’s no doubt that prices are going to keep going up, it’s scary to think that money might stop coming in, isn’t it?

 

I think the contractors aren't just goofing off either, so they should really think things through a bit more before they speak.

And this is happening in an era when labor shortages are so severe that nothing can be done about it.

Of course, that would be a different story if there were more than enough people.

I think there are a lot of contractors who say, “The counter-rotation method is really tough!”

 

We also have two sites using the reverse-drilling method, but we're having a really hard time securing enough staff.

I really want to assign the same workers to the same job sites as much as possible—it lowers the accident rate and boosts efficiency—but it’s a tough call, lol.

Now that I've taken on this task, I want to do it thoroughly and properly.That's exactly it!
