Aluminum caps and rust-preventive oil are not necessary for rebar insertion work!

The back is covered with an aluminum cap, and the front is wrapped in concrete.

I suppose a car must have hit this part, causing the aluminum cap to fly off.

In the past, the material used for rebar insertion was raw rebar (uncoated).

However, these days, unless they're temporary, they're 100% plated.

Under the right conditions, it definitely won't rust for about 100 years. (Although, in reality, the estimate is set on the conservative side to account for a safety margin.)

The rebar used in rebar insertion work is galvanized and completely coated with cement slurry.

It hardly ever comes into contact with oxygen or moisture.

This aluminum cap and rust-preventive oil are not needed at all.

 

It's a waste of taxpayer money (not that I'm a politician or anything, lol).

These days, there are several types of caps that don't stick out and don't require oil, so it's better to use those.
