Whenever something happens, public utilities feel the fallout!

Hello, everyone.

This is Enta.

A serious incident occurred the other day.

It is truly unfortunate that former Prime Minister Abe has passed away.

Mr. Abe, thank you for all your hard work. Please take some time to rest.

Violence

It’s common to find that your opinion isn’t accepted or that there are differences in perspective.

In situations like that, you can't resolve things through violence (including verbal abuse).

Even a child knows that.

I can't help but feel very disappointed.

Even as contractors, there are many things that we find simply strange (or unreasonable).

You wouldn't resort to violence in a situation like that, would you?

I think we’ll have to discuss it and work things out through dialogue.

I think that’s what it means to be an adult, and that’s what Japan as a nation is all about, you know~

The impact of this situation is bound to come back to us in some form or another eventually, isn't it?

In particular, it is expected that some form of regulation will be imposed on prime contractors in the public works sector.

I wonder if subcontractors will naturally have to deal with more paperwork, too...

I don't know what will happen, but after the 9/11 terrorist attacks, they put up signs saying "Anti-Terrorism Measures in Progress" and the like.

Whenever an incident like this occurs, we are required to take some kind of action.

It's a real headache, isn't it?

It remains to be seen how these repercussions will affect the country, the economy, and the construction industry going forward, but,

I really want to make sure to protect the people close to me.

See you later.
