I feel like it would be better to include stability calculations even for stone wall collapse prevention work at private residences (for the private sector).

Moldam Method

This is a countermeasure for stone wall collapse.

I've been getting so many requests lately that I'm starting to get a little overwhelmed...

I really appreciate it, but it gets pretty tricky when it overlaps with public events.

 

A recent trend is that the stonework is already bulging out, so it can’t be contained by the surface alone.

For this reason, we are performing rebar installation and dewatering work.

Moldam Method

As expected, this kind of work is right up our alley as slope engineers.

I think that if we package the construction work and clearly define the construction methods, anyone could easily carry it out without having to design it.

 

However, the current problem is that the red zone cannot be lifted (to yellow) without performing design calculations (stability analysis),

Since government offices tend to get suspicious if there's no design, you actually need to come up with at least some kind of design, lol.

It's not really that complicated, but I wish the government would handle it a little better.

If we have to proceed with construction without a design, we’ll inevitably have to build on the conservative side, so

Construction costs tend to rise.

Even for private construction projects, we want to ensure that the work is carried out flawlessly, so we’ll handle this thoroughly.

It would be nice if there were a few more contractors, but since this type of work involves slippery surfaces, the options are limited, which makes it difficult.

 

There's been an epidemic going around the last few days, so my thinking's a little off lol (I wrote all that just to post that completely random sentence above...)

Personally, I think that no matter how careful I am, it’s bound to happen anyway, but,
