The other day, I drilled a 100-meter hole using a dewatering drilling rig lol

I have to say, 100 meters really feels like a major milestone, doesn't it?

 

Well, to be honest, it was actually pretty soft, so it went by in a flash, but,

Still, there's something nice about the 100-meter dash.

It does give you a sense of accomplishment, doesn't it?

 

How about you all?

There's such a great sense of accomplishment when you finish a construction project, isn't there?

 

For example, if you sprayed 20 cubic meters in a day, or

They said they installed 20 rebar inserts, or something like that,

I heard they installed six anchors (though it depends on the cost per anchor)...

Things like finishing paperwork in record time or juggling multiple job sites at once.

 

I think each one brings its own sense of accomplishment.

That's one of the things I take pride in—when will I be able to surpass that next?

 

That quiet sense of pride in your work is really important, isn't it?

I think that’s why I’m still able to do this today, and that’s why I’ll be able to keep doing it in the future.

 

You all have at least one, right?

When you achieve it, it becomes a source of professional pride!

It’s something only people who’ve actually done it or achieved it can understand.

 

I think we in the slope stabilization industry feel a similar sense of accomplishment, and there are plenty of people who feel that way.

After all, we're in the same line of work, lol

What matters is whether you did it yourself; it doesn't matter if it's similar to what others have done.

The pride that comes from achieving something is important.

 

At our next practice, for example, we did 100 meters of shuttle runs in a single day!

It would be fun to have drinking parties where people are grouped based on things like "I drilled a 100-meter hole," right? lol

If everyone is at the same level of proficiency in their respective tasks, we can share our knowledge and ideas with one another, which should help us all perform our work even better.

 

It would be fun to do things like that in the future, wouldn't it? ^^

Now that the COVID-19 pandemic is over, I think it would be good to have places where people can gather energetically and share construction techniques.

I’d love to share our pride in our craftsmanship and exchange ideas with all kinds of people!
