By the way, are you trying anything new?

We started our scaffolding business last year.

But that's something new, lol.

 

The reason I started doing scaffolding is because there aren't any scaffolding contractors, lol.

There really aren't any scaffolding contractors these days, are there?

They don't come even when I call them, and with rates skyrocketing right now, I'm not making any money at all.

 

My work as a scaffolding contractor—which I started for that very reason—has been gradually taking shape lately.

You can load anything from large planes to small ones—lol

 

Sure, it's slower than what the pros do, but it's still better than nothing.

It goes smoothly when Team 1 can handle the entire process—from finishing the formwork to erecting the scaffolding and drilling the holes—all on their own.

That's why we handle the construction ourselves.

(The opening is made of plywood.)

So, hopefully, it will gradually get faster from here on out.

Since we’re also teaching safety to our trainees, there have been no accidents on this construction site so far.

 

Scaffolding work—which seemed both familiar and distant—turns out to be manageable once you actually give it a try.

If you don't keep trying new things, you'll get bored with your job, you know.

Lately, we've also been installing bread walls, so we're taking on new challenges.

 

I use 3D CAD to design new things and then have them machined.

I believe that trying new things will help save my future self (and my company).

Let's take on new challenges while continuing with our current jobs.

This applies not only to work-related certifications but also to personal certifications.

It means investing in yourself.

You could even do some strength training. (I've been really into strength training lately.)
