I've been in Tokyo for a few days now, working, and I can't help but think, "Tokyo really is amazing."
I'm just a country bumpkin from Nagoya who keeps thinking, "I guess I really can't live in Tokyo after all" lol
But that's beside the point.
I was just daydreaming the other day, but everyone uses this, right?

Don't these Digital Slant cameras break down surprisingly often?
Due to water damage or vibration, for example.
So, you know... I've been thinking I'd like to make something that won't break, and I actually found the easiest way to do it lol
To be honest, I was hoping someone would make and sell one, but it looks like it would be easy enough to make myself, so I think I'll give it a try.

Basically, I'm wondering if I can just use a smartphone app—like a protractor or angle measurer—to measure angles.
Smartphones have high-performance gyroscopes (angular velocity sensors) built in, which is why they perform so well.
The horizontal surface can be easily made from machined aluminum, and the part that holds the smartphone is also simple to make.
Then just glue on the magnet, and your digital slant is all set!!
That's the gist of it.
There's just one problem, though: we can't use the digital whiteboard on our smartphones, lol.
You really need at least two smartphones, don't you? lol
There are still a lot of production sites that use regular cameras, so it’s definitely a valid option, though~
Should I think about it a little more, or just wait to see if another vendor comes up with something? lol
But it's really fun to think about stuff like this, isn't it?
