In short, this is an initiative that allows subcontractors to report issues or seek advice from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism when they are dissatisfied with something—such as payment or construction arrangements—or have concerns or questions about these matters.
Up until now, if the general contractor said, “This is all the money we have!” that was the end of it, but it looks like we won’t be able to get away with that anymore lol
To be honest, there are general contractors like that, so I think it’s perfectly fine to get scolded in that situation.
You'll probably be getting a steady stream of notifications about things like mismatched correspondence and payment issues, right?
There are probably cases where a contractor who got angry on the job site calls the authorities during their lunch break.
With things getting completely out of hand, the general contractor is starting to get really nervous!?
I suppose there wouldn't be any problems as long as you go through the proper contract process, though...
Or maybe something like sudden, routine use?
It's really dangerous.
It looks like we're entering an era where we can't rely on subpar contractors anymore.
That said, I think there are also efforts to weed out those kinds of businesses.
This applies to both general contractors and subcontractors.
Anti-social groups, too.
What if you saw a construction contractor with ties to organized crime working somewhere—would you report them?
I think this is actually a great idea, lol.
But I’m worried that all sorts of people will start reporting everything and anything...
