Well, I'm not exactly promoting it that much, but it's pretty handy.
Since I'm a slope contractor and designed this specifically for slope contractors, it's totally geared toward slope contractors, lol.
However, if you are using software that allows you to easily draw within the CAD program itself and immediately generate drawings, there is no need to go out of your way to use Heron's Kei.
The number of people who use Heron's Key is quite limited.
Who Should Use Heron's Key
1. The company doesn't have CAD software. (Is that even possible?)
2. I have CAD software, but I'm drawing and connecting the triangles one by one in Heron.
3. I do not have a CAD system specifically designed for Heron.
4. AutoCAD.
5. The drawings are outsourced to begin with.
6. I drew a "triangle that isn't a triangle" at the job site, and now I'm having trouble with it at the office.
7. I'm drawing this using free CAD software.
8. The area calculation table is calculated in Excel and then pasted into CAD.
9. I need to know the quantity right away while on site.
10. We must submit the drawings to the government office and the general contractor immediately.
11. We use Excel HeronSoft to provide this to the general contractor. (AutoShapes in Excel)
