Hello, everyone.
This is Enta.
The hinoki cypress pollen season is really in full swing, isn't it?
My cedar allergy has gotten a lot better, but...
It looks like it'll take a little longer.
Be sure to check the Japan Meteorological Association's website carefully and take precautions, lol.

But that's beside the point.
As I mentioned last time, I’ll be writing a series of posts about the features of Heron’s Kay.
Here are some of the key advantages of this slope-specific software that you won’t find in general-purpose CAD programs.
First, here is the basic premise of this CAD system.Always draw the shape in a clockwise direction.

First, download the app, sign up, and open it—this is the screen that appears.
1. From the "New" menu, create a new slope and name it whatever you like, such as the slope name or site name.

2. Next, tap the : icon in the upper-right corner and select "Dimension Settings."

3. If you set the input unit to millimeters, you won't have to type a comma every time, which makes it easier on a smartphone.

4. Please set the design dimensions and actual measurements to the rounded values at the time of delivery. (This can also be done after creation.)

5. After setting the dimensions, the screen shown above will appear, and you will enter the actual measurements.

6. When you tap the initial angle, you can rotate the drawn shape by swiping your finger.
Please adjust it to fit the site. It will lock into place when you press "OK."

7. In the case of slope development drawings, the drawings will inevitably become distorted.
The map starts to get out of alignment due to the undulating terrain.
If you simply connect the yellow section shown above with the shape I drew at the beginning, you’ll get a diagram like the one below.

8. With standard CAD software, I think you'd see gaps or protrusions like this.
Since these are actual measurements, there's nothing we can do about it.
So, let's try a different way of entering data.

9. Select side B and change "No Connection" next to it to "Connection."
The screen shown below will appear, and you'll decide which part to connect to.
When making a selection, switch to edge selection mode to select edges.

10. When you click "Confirm," the following message will appear; please click "Do not create a double cross-section."
The term "double cross-section" isn't used much these days, but it's used when drawing a cross-section where one side is 10 meters and the other is 5 meters.
I'll skip that for now.

11. Click "Register," and you will be connected as shown below.
Of course, the actual dimensions are longer, but the values on the drawing and in the area calculation table are the input values.

12. Tap the icon in the upper-right corner of your drawing to save it temporarily in the app (save to your phone) or tap "Upload to Server" to save it.

13. Select "Send" and enter the sender's ID, and then,Send directly to friends who use Heron's KeyYes, you can.
For example, if you want to immediately send survey results collected on-site to government offices or the general contractor, you can send the data to a colleague at the office, who can then print it out on a computer and email it for you.
Alternatively, if the general contractor has Heron's Key set up, they can send it directly.
This time, we covered the features of Heron's Kei.
See you later.

The download is complete. (lol)
Whoa!
You're finally getting your first smartphone!!! LOL
