A fax arrived at the office last night.

I ran this through a translation program, and it said something about an outrageous amount of inheritance, blah blah blah!!!

It looks like there's some mumbo jumbo written about me inheriting an estate, lol.

Well, that's definitely a scam fax!

 

But if you look closely, there's something odd about the name.

Fraudulent Fax Error

I suppose my name was supposed to go here.

But it didn't get entered because of a typo! lol

Was he in a hurry?

 

It feels rather shoddy.

It seems to have been trending for the past few months.

This fax appears to be from Spain—it seems scams are crossing national borders these days.

 

After doing some research, it seems the same document is circulating.

Well, I don't think anyone would fall for this one, but please be careful, everyone.

But how are they looking up names??

I guess in my case, it wasn't listed, so I just didn't know...
