Hello, everyone.
This is Enta.
Thanks to the game of tag we played last Sunday, both my legs are sore.
It seems I still had some muscle left, so it's tough to move lol

Icing is recommended to relieve this muscle soreness!
If you look it up online, you'll find plenty of results.
Anyway, cool it down.
Icing is also effective for acute lower back pain!

If you chill it until it's ice-cold for about 30 minutes, it'll taste much better.
But that's beside the point.
Learning from Failure
When it comes to on-site conditions for rebar installation (Part I), there are times when you wonder, “Do we really need a bolt here?”
These were 5-meter bolts used at a construction site a few years ago.
The slack was securely pulled in with the winch to keep it from moving.
There are winches on both sides, each weighing 150 kg.
I thought the drilling would go quickly because the reaction force was being effectively absorbed.
I think it took about 20 minutes to finish one.
Slimes appear consistently from start to finish.
The slime has never clogged up.
After drilling about five holes, the drilling speed slowed down. (It felt slower.)
I thought, "Hmm, the sound seems different," so I checked the bits.

A bit where the chip looks like this...
The spike bit has turned into a button bit... lol
I suppose a button bit would have been best for this mountain.
You picked the wrong bit, didn't you?
But I didn't realize it was this hard.
At this job site, we went through four bits a day and ended up completely in the red lol
You really don't know what digging a hole is like until you actually do it.
It's deep, just like a hole... lol
When performing suspended drilling, be sure to use a sleeve (which connects the rod to the shank) or
I always make sure to bring spare bits and drill rods with me.
Because air hammers deliver such powerful blows, their consumables wear out quickly.
Rods can break, so be sure to bring at least two.
Please tighten the bolts on the core drill unit at least twice a day (at noon and in the evening).
Since you never know what might happen on a job site,
Let’s use our imagination to come up with ways to handle crises.
That's what learning from failure is all about, isn't it?
That's how often I fail, lol.
See you later.
