Administration of the Foreign National Skills Test | Evaluation of Technical Intern Trainees

Hello, everyone.

This is Enta.

I've been staying at a company in Azumino City, Nagano Prefecture, for the past few days.

The reason is that the exam for foreign technical interns is today.

Skills Test

I practiced a few times the day before.

Using a level and an impact driver, they assembled each unit, taking about 30 minutes per unit.

Skills Test

It feels a bit strange that these construction workers have to set up scaffolding, which isn't part of their usual work (they normally work on slopes and anchor installations), but,

I suppose it’s understandable that we can’t evaluate students unless we standardize the exams, so there’s nothing we can do about it.

We’re renting all the scaffolding materials, and since we’re bringing in our own materials for the test, we’ll need about two days (including the test day) to prepare.

The scaffolding itself is easy, but I'm more worried about the Japanese exam, lol.

The Vietnamese people who come to our place seem to speak fairly well, so it looks like it'll be fine, but,

Just because you can speak doesn't mean you can read and write, after all~

I'm looking forward to seeing how things go today, and I hope to be able to share how it turned out tomorrow.

I'm going to gather all the info I can on companies I haven't applied to yet!

See you later.
