The other day, I took the certification exam for technical interns!
Even though I practiced really hard the day before, I totally bombed the test lol
I think I probably passed, but since it was my first time, I was a little nervous lol.
The skills test requires candidates to walk along a designated scaffold.
The specified scaffolding setup was actually quite simple, but there were a few key tricks to it.
The lab tech explained it to me carefully, so I think I'll be fine next time, lol.
The exam was held at a fairly large venue. (Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture)
It was a place called the Matsumoto City Technical Vocational School.
I'm surprised at how impressive the facilities are lol
Since I got there early, it felt like we started as soon as everything was ready.
Place the materials at the predetermined location.
After that, the truck is moved outside, and once the participants have put on their helmets and fastened their safety harnesses, the session begins.

Basically, it's better to explain things thoroughly the day before.
We, as slope contractors, generally do not set up scaffolding.
However, since they’re here as scaffolders, they have no choice but to do “scaffolding work.”
There are currently no other exam topics for scaffolders.

It's relatively easy.
However, working on scaffolding—something they don’t usually do—was very difficult for the slope engineers.
After all, even though I practiced so much the day before, it felt like it had all vanished during the actual performance...
