The other day, I went to the i-construction trade show.

Wow, that was really educational.
The tsunami of automation is already here.
In a recent blog post, I wrote that the government wants to promote i-construction globally.

When I checked with Mr. Komatsu, sure enough,That's what I meanIt seems like that.
That means this is definitely going to happen.
Everything is automated: we use drones for surveillance and surveying, take photos with our cell phones, and check the shape of the cut lines on our cell phones.
The machine is semi-automatic, and tasks like slope grading (excavation)—which used to require about 10 years of training—can now be performed after just about three days of training.

There are sensors everywhere you look.

I suppose various software development projects will also move forward, led by Mr. Komatsu.
