The wave of ICT in the construction industry is really picking up steam.
I tried to get into drones myself, but I decided this wasn't the right fit for me, so I gave it up.
Well, I'll be able to create slope development drawings easily enough before long.
It's just a matter of time, isn't it?
The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism is also stepping up its efforts.

I was thinking about this the other day while riding the Shinkansen, and I’ve come to the conclusion that the key is automating spray machines and rotary percussion machines.
I can definitely do this!
We might lose one staff member. It could even be more than that!
You won't have to learn any complicated procedures.
For example, if you could use the remote control to increase the air pressure or add more material, Nozzle Man would be able to apply the material exactly as intended.
With rotary percussion drilling, you can drill holes without having to master drilling techniques, and you can cut, attach, or remove casing.
"Wait a minute, you're kidding, right?!" That's what you're thinking, isn't it?
That's definitely going to happen!
That means we’ve already entered that kind of era.
All technical knowledge is digitized, quantified, and passed down.
So, what should we do?
I'm going to try modifying the machines bit by bit so that I can automate the rotary percussion and sprayers.
The method is very simple—all you have to do is teach the computer what you're currently doing.

For now, the first priority is probably to set it up so that things like hydraulic pressure can be displayed digitally and to start recording those readings.
I don't know what I'll be able to do, but I want to be prepared in case there's something I can do.
I don't mind that sort of thing to begin with, so I'd like to move forward with it.
