Back when we middle-aged guys were young, we could work as much as we wanted.
That's why there are so many middle-aged men who are really good at their jobs and know a lot about everything.
However, young people today find themselves in an environment that makes it difficult for them to work. (Society is...)
That's why people say that young people today grow as individuals more slowly than the older generation did.
People in the old days worked so much that they had no choice but to learn the ropes.
To put it bluntly, even a fool can do the same thing over and over again, so I was able to learn the job to a certain extent.
But since I’ve been deprived of that opportunity right now, it’s only natural that the project will be over before I have a chance to learn (master) it,
I'm switching to a new type of work, so I have to start all over again.
It goes by so fast I don't even have time to remember it, and I end up thinking, "I did this type of work two years ago, didn't I?"

Well, in my case, since I’m so busy and getting a lot of work done, I might just barely be okay (though I don’t really know).
