When it comes to ground anchor work, have you ever drilled too deep?
It happens sometimes—like when you dig too deep by mistake, right? lol (Or maybe not that often?)
Depending on the remaining length of the casing, there are times when we simply have to drill deeper.
If you insert an anchor body at a time like that, you might not be able to pull it up.
If there is grout present, it may become impossible to pull it up, so please be careful.
Here's what to do in that situation!

This is a single-wall pipe.
For example, if you drill 1.0 meters too deep, it’ll be a real struggle to pull the drill bit out.
Even though it’s a bit of a waste, cut a 1.0-meter section of single-wall pipe and insert it into the casing.
In that case, the tip of the anchor body cannot be inserted any further due to the single-wall pipe.
Well, using steel pipes is more reliable than using wooden stakes, but since it’s beyond the anchorage length, that’s up to the supervisor to decide.
Grout will also fill this section of the single pipe, allowing for a solid foundation to be formed.
