Where Is the Construction Error in the Ground Anchor Work? (Part 3)

Hello, everyone.

This is Enta.

Wow~ There's no one here~~ lol

I'm so swamped I can't even move a muscle!

I can't wave my arms

Still, I'll do my absolute best within my capabilities!

各関係者の皆様、工程を引き延ばして欲しい気持ちでいっぱいですw

But that's beside the point.

4. Tension Work

There was one more spot where we made a mistake in the stress control installation!

This is it!

Pressure Gauge

This is a pressure gauge for a jack.

KTB Hydraulic Jack

This one is the same. It looks different because it’s made by a different anchor manufacturer than the one in the photo above, but it’s essentially the same.

KTB Tension Jack

Do you understand?

Actually, this...There are craftsmen and supervisors who misread things. That's right!

It really is hard to see, and if you have presbyopia, it’s pretty bad, lol.

A long time ago, when I was a site supervisor,

I was once surprised when a technician operating a jack pulled it all the way up to the breaking load limit lol.

That craftsman said he’d misunderstood, lol.

This gauge is actually pretty hard to read!

To prevent that from happening, we started marking this pressure gauge from then on.

(I don't do that anymore, though. I'm not the general contractor, lol. I do offer advice, though.)

Stage Display

I just stick them on like this using a label maker or something.

This way, the workers won’t make mistakes, and the construction manager won’t make any oversights.

It's okay to write on it with a marker. You can easily erase it with paint thinner.

Digital Display

うちはこう言ったデジタルのゲージを使用して創意工夫でミスないようにもしてます。

See you later.
