Hello, everyone

This is Enta.

Drilling for this season’s toughest construction project was completed the other day! lol

 

I'm still a little nervous, but it was definitely a difficult spot to drill.

What do you mean? Well, I just can't drill a hole, lol.

It had been a while since I’d worked on a challenging project where I had to go through a lot of trial and error, and I learned a great deal from the experience.

 

This was a situation on-site where we were able to reaffirm what to do in situations like this and what to do if things turn out a certain way.

Especially when the casing is clamped against the mountain, even in the low mode of the rotary percussion drill,

The spin was a close call.

The push-and-pull was really right on the edge—in the worst-case scenario, I was on the verge of getting stuck!

I’m especially careful when drilling holes like this.

And at times like this, I tend to doubt the gauges, lol.

But since instruments are more sensitive than we humans are, I guess this is exactly the kind of situation where we should trust them, lol.

(Not trusting the instruments and doubting them is human error—it stems from overconfidence.)

 

For now, since we've installed the anchor and the grout has been properly injected,

I was able to stay focused without losing concentration. (Completed the previous day)

 

All that remains is the tension on the 40-meter anchor.

As you'd expect, working on a 40-meter-class vessel requires a lot of care and attention, so it was tough, but we managed to get it done.

 

Anchor shops—or rather, drilling shops—are fighting a battle out of sight (inside the holes).

It's hard for anyone other than the operator to understand this struggle, but,

The mental and brain fatigue from surgery is off the charts, lol.

 

Not being able to see is really exhausting.

That’s exactly why I think it’s such an appealing job.

I guess the most glamorous job in ground anchor construction is definitely the operator's, isn't it?

To all operators across the country: We might not be able to dig today either.

However, only those who can withstand that pressure will be able to conquer that mountain!

It feels like things won't go smoothly until I've been through the trials of the mountains, but,

Don't give up—keep an eye on the gauges, push and pull the levers, turn the dials, and give it your all!
