I usually wear sunglasses when I'm out in the field.

That said, it's the kind that's clear under normal conditions but turns dark when exposed to UV rays.

So, I noticed the other day that the area around my eyes is white... I look like a panda...

That's a "panda tan," isn't it...

But the UV rays from the sun are so intense that I just can't stop, lol.

Especially since I've had LASIK, my eyes get tired easily, so sunglasses are a must-have for me.

Plus, you can use them as dust-proof goggles, too!

But that's beside the point.

Spray painting at this time of year is truly hell.

After all, we were doing the work while feeling pretty wobbly.

Everyone at our construction site is completely exhausted right now from the final landscaping work.

Since it’s coming to an end, I think I’ll be able to catch my breath.

 

How are the landscaping projects going these days?

We don't do much landscaping anymore, do we?

I suppose that's because the main reason is that they can't handle the maintenance.

The landscaping spacers we released two years ago barely sold at all, lol.

That just means there aren't any landscaping projects. Probably...

Do you remember? lol

It's already at that level.

Well, since we have the chance, we're trying to use it as much as possible on our job sites, but there aren't many landscaping projects...

I'm going to try to come up with some creative solutions at my current worksite. (There's a bit of greenery there.)

Since this is a Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism project, it’s a great opportunity to showcase your creativity and ingenuity. (Even though we’re a second-tier subcontractor, lol.)

In fact, certain types of construction work go in and out of fashion.

We shifted from a period when our work focused mainly on landscaping to one centered on legal frameworks, transitioning from non-frame systems and from anchor installation to rebar insertion.

The same goes for high-energy projects (like Rocknet construction), doesn't it?

What will be the next trend? What kinds of construction trades will emerge in this era of natural disasters?

I'm looking forward to it.

It would be kind of interesting to be involved in that, even just a little bit.

I want to seize small opportunities, one by one.

I've been feeling a little tired at work lately, so please cut me some slack if this post isn't great, lol.
