Hello, everyone.
This is Enta.
The job site the other day was freezing cold and super windy—it was total hell lol.
And so, today is just another day like the rest...
Even when it's sunny, the strong winds make it feel chilly.
It's important to stay out of the wind as much as possible, but since we're at the beach...
But that's beside the point.

What are the risks associated with on-site work, such as spray painting, during this time of year?
I'm sure all sorts of things will come to mind.
Since what you all can imagine is a future that’s entirely possible, I believe it will definitely happen, and I think we’re already prepared for it.
However, there is actually an unexpected risk here.
That is.
Sudden Lower Back Pain! (Lower Back Pain)
This is the one thing I couldn't have predicted!
This is especially important for those over 30!
If you're the type to say, "No way, that could never happen! It'll be fine, it'll be fine!"—you should be especially careful. (That used to be me, lol.)
People who are particularly prone to this are as follows:
1. I sometimes lift heavy things.
2. Frequent getting in and out of the car.
3. I am experiencing severe stress.
4. I've never had lower back pain. (I'm taking it too lightly, lol)
5. Cold conditions. (Not in the sense of slipping, but the environment.)
In my experience, you should be wary of people like this.
I know some of you might think, “Number 3 has nothing to do with it,” but I can’t exactly say it has nothing to do with it, lol.
That’s because I’m a veteran of sudden lower back pain, so I have access to various resources and knowledge on the subject.
There are books that say a sudden back spasm is a manifestation of anger.

Lower Back Pain Is : Popular Edition
Reading this will make you go, "Whoa!" lol
Well, there are various theories out there, but what should you do when you get a sudden back spasm!?
There’s a treatment I always do when I have a sudden back spasm.
That way, you'll usually be able to recover in about a day.
That's icing.
There's no better treatment than this!
The reasoning is simple, and
"Pain → Inflammation → Apply cold → Reduce inflammation → Heal"That's it.
Swelling from bruises or fractures also heals much more quickly if you apply ice to cool the area down rapidly.
I’m sure the theory behind it is actually more complicated than that, but in any case, inflammation tends to heal more easily when you apply cold.
I can't deny that I've been icing just about everything lately, but it really does help me recover faster.

Just fill an ice bag with ice and chill it for 30 minutes.
The surrounding nerves are also cooled, and the pain disappears instantly.
I recommend this even if you don't have a sudden back spasm, so please give it a try.
Chill for about 30 minutes, then ice it again 2 to 3 hours later.
If you do this four or five times a day, the swelling will go down significantly.
You never know what might happen during construction, so please stay alert and be careful at all times.
Be sure to pay attention to areas like your lower back, which you might not usually think about.
Please be aware that unsafe conditions can also arise from within your own body.
See you later.
