Of course, you're working at this time of year, right? lol
Wanting to take a break is a luxury problem, isn't it?
It's better than having no job at all!
The fear of being out of work is really scary. (lol)
So, I'm totally freaking out about next year... lol
But that's beside the point.
I was drawing a blueprint in AutoCAD.
I thought the current version, AutoCAD 2017, was the latest and had become quite convenient.
When I tried to paste an Excel table as usual by specifying the format,
I can't...
I'm the type of person who, once I get stuck on something, just can't stop dwelling on it...
I guess you could say I'm what people call a perfectionist.
After looking into various options, I finally settled on one free software program.
This is it.
This is the best!
↓
Specify the table.
↓
Right-click
↓
Click the "DXF Convert" button.
↓
Save As
↓
Open in CAD
You could also adjust the font size and other settings. (It's a really well-made piece of free software.)
But when I really think about it...
It reminded me of how, back in the day, I used this macro to convert triangulation data into a script and import it directly into AutoCAD.
Actually, that was back in the early days of Heron's Kay, lol.
But hey, you really should use something this convenient!!
