The other day, I came across something called "remote witnessing" on Twitter!

I think this initiative is wonderful.

It's a big help to think that you'll hardly have to wait at government offices anymore, isn't it?

However, I think the government agencies are the ones that will benefit the most from this.

Even though we're already short-staffed, they come just to verify things for the sake of being present.

If you say that’s part of the job, I suppose that’s true, but I can’t help feeling that those days are over.

Even though government offices are swamped with work, because of the work-style reform, they can’t officially work overtime, so they end up doing it on the sly, right?

If your work gets even a little bit easier, it’ll put your mind at ease, right?

I think it’s perfectly fine to go to a job site just to take a break every once in a while.

Other than that, I think remote attendance like this is sufficient.

The problem is unscrupulous businesses, isn't it?

When you think about it, it seems like you could use a remote scale to instantly get the measurement (though nothing like that exists yet), or even a fiberscope.

We need to take measures against unscrupulous businesses.

If it comes to that, it looks like it might end up being a privilege available only to a very limited number of vendors... lol

I really hope some unscrupulous contractor doesn't try to stop this process through underhanded means.

Well, in any case, this initiative feels very forward-looking. I get the sense that the future of the construction industry is shifting significantly in that direction.

I'm really looking forward to seeing what happens next.
