Now that work at the job site is finished, the drilling machines and spray machines are returning to the company one after another.
In the midst of all that, a brand-new engine-powered pressure washer arrived lol
The pressure washer I thought I'd be able to use on-site at the end of the fiscal year... lol (only now)
Since all the pressure washers we had at home were electric, we decided to go with a gas-powered one this time.
Motor-powered models are very convenient because they run constantly without needing fuel, but on the flip side, they absolutely cannot be used without a generator.
As long as you have gasoline, you can use a gasoline-powered engine as much as you want.
For the final cleanup, I'd just like to have some water and a pressure washer.
But since it’s pretty difficult without a generator, I guess we’ll need an engine after all.
But new things are great, aren't they?
It would be great if we could keep things this way forever, but that’s pretty difficult.
How can we keep it clean without getting it dirty?
The only way to do that is through each person's own awareness.
And, if possible, assign someone to be in charge.
When you're assigned to the site, please make sure to clean this up.
We assign a specific person to each machine.
For example, even if you're doing spray work and cleaning up afterward, you'll still need to clean the compressor for the machine you were in charge of.
Just doing this will significantly reduce how often the machine gets dirty.
To put it bluntly, as long as you clean just that part, you won’t get scolded or reprimanded. (As far as the machine is concerned.)
People aren't actually very good at multitasking.
It's either a matter of getting each one done thoroughly, one by one, or making slow, half-hearted progress on all of them.
I'm the type who prefers to tackle things all at once, so it's possible that everything ends up half-finished.
If you just tell them to do exactly this much, they can do it easily, right?
Especially if it's just a few minutes after work.
If you spend a few minutes at the end of each shift cleaning the machines and the work area, you can keep both the machines and the worksite looking clean all the time!
