Lately, I've been struggling with water almost every day.
The thing is, with the temporary anchor work, there was a lot of water under pressure and the pressure was high, so it was really tough, but I'm managing to figure it out through trial and error! lol
This kind of thing is kind of a trade secret, but it's a public project, lol.
So, once again, I’d like to introduce Bit.
In areas with a lot of water, choosing the right bit is also important.
The reason is water, lol.

It's another metal-cutting bit this time.
This time, it's a pretty pricey bit!
Over 190,000 at the list price!

As you can see, the chips are securely in place.
The time it takes to cut a 15-mm sheet pile with this bit is... wait for it!
About 10 to 15 minutes!
An angle iron is welded beneath the drill hole to prevent the metal pieces from slipping, so you can tap them firmly while applying pressure.

Just by doing this, you can cut through a steel plate in just over 10 minutes.

Considering I'm cutting while striking with a hammer, I think it's cutting quite well.

This is about all you can expect from cutting just one strand.
In fact, it hadn't decreased by even 1 mm.
I have a feeling I could probably get through quite a few, but I'll stick with this for a while and see how it goes.
The reason we need to pre-cut the steel is that gas cutting in areas with a lot of water takes a long time, and we want to minimize the amount of water used as much as possible.
What they're saying is that they want to make the cut smaller.
For that reason, I want to drill a small hole with a metal-cutting drill bit to minimize soil erosion and other issues. (If the hole is too big, soil erosion could cause the upper part to collapse.)
Next, we will use a packer to seal off the water.
