Toughlight RG: 1-Week Strength Training

I am writing to report the results of the first week of testing the crack-preventive material.

"One week" meansCompressive Strength Test as a Quality Control Item for On-Site Sprayed Concrete FormworkThe frequency of testing there.

We will test the same test piece one week later and again four weeks later.

Collect six samples from each test piece; designate three of them as "Week 1" and the other three as "Week 4."

In the previous test, we tested two mix designs with densities of 0.91 kg/m³ and 1.82 kg/m³.

Since one week has passed since then, here are the results of the compressive strength test.

Overall, the results showed that the strength was slightly lower than expected.

That said,18 kN/mm² was achieved in one weekWe are doing so.

However, the test specimens that were not mixed (and therefore contained no admixtures) exceeded 20 kN/mm².

I get the impression that adding a little fiber makes it softer (though I'm not sure if that's the right way to put it).

It's actually rock-solid, lol.

It's clear that it's well mixed.

It's mixed in evenly throughout.

Although there are cracks throughout, the mortar generally doesn't fall off.

It's already pretty overgrown at this stage.

When I removed the core, it wasn't particularly difficult, and even when I pressed down hard on it from above with the machine, it didn't feel stiff.

That's where a clear difference emerged.

There are cracks throughout, but it hasn't fallen.

I tried to remove the broken part, but it wouldn't come off.

The situation at the inspection port hasn't changed much, but I guess it just feels like there's a little more than usual.

As for the people actually working on-site, as of now...There are absolutely no cracks.

Part of it may be due to the timing of the construction, but even though it’s usually quite easy to get in next to the drainpipe, there’s absolutely no sign of that here.

All in all, I think it's a good product.

That's because relying solely on the continuity of the wire mesh leaves me feeling uneasy.

Generally speaking, when aging sprayed mortar or concrete begins to peel away, it’s because the wire mesh has deteriorated.

It's completely rusted. I think this product should work well enough to address that issue.

If the goal is to ensure continuity and prevent separation, this product would be ideal for national highways and other major arterial roads.
