Hello, everyone.
This is Enta.
Are you managing the construction? lol

Construction management involves managing the project based on the construction plan established at the outset, using predetermined control values, right?
From a strictly objective point of view, this is how it is.
However, the construction plan itself is surprisingly packed with my own experience, personal insights, and know-how.
The construction plan is prepared subjectively.
That’s why there are so many different ways of thinking and approaches depending on the person, and in construction management, there’s no single “right” answer.
Ultimately, as long as construction proceeds according to the drawings within the specified control limits, you’re free to proceed however you like.
Since people have different ways of thinking, there are inevitably areas where differences of opinion arise with the general contractor’s supervisor, leading to discussions such as, “This management approach is wrong,” or “Why aren’t we managing this?”
From the site’s perspective, our true desire is to eliminate unnecessary construction management as much as possible, but it’s also important to carry out management tasks that earn points with the general contractor. (There’s a lot of subjectivity involved on the general contractor’s part.)
Also, there are times when clients say, “This is how construction management was handled with other contractors, so we’d like you to do it the same way.”
When you're managing a construction project, isn't it the worst when you're told to take over some incomprehensible management task that another contractor was handling?
It’s really frustrating when there are things in the design specs—other than the ones listed as required—that you know for sure aren’t necessary, isn’t it?
I just wish they'd stop—management that's way too subjective is just a waste of time, lol.
Construction management know-how cultivated through one’s own experience and track record, while constantly applying ingenuity.
If you get too obsessed, it's a real rabbit hole, lol.
To be honest, the government inspectors’ opinions are way too subjective—with all their “You should do it this way!” and “You should do it that way!”—and their irresponsible opinions are one of the factors turning our construction management into a real nightmare, lol.
It's best to keep construction management to a reasonable level.
See you later.
