This was quite a while ago, but a new edition of the Rockfall Prevention Handbook had come out.

I knew about it, but since I hadn't ordered it, I bought it on Amazon.

This is definitely a must-have book for managers, isn't it?

Books are one of our weapons, so let's read them carefully and make sure to use them effectively.

 

Sure enough, when you write a blog every day, there are times when it gets tough. (Running out of ideas.)

At times like that, I look at old photos or consult reference books like the ones mentioned above.

When that happens, I find myself thinking, “Oh, I remember having trouble with this back then.”

That's how I look for story ideas.

 

Some people say things like, “You must have a lot of free time!” or “If you had that much time, you could…”

That's what people say, lol

Well, that's true, though lol

However, I usually write my blog late at night, first thing in the morning, or during my lunch break.

What are the people who said, “You must have a lot of free time,” doing now?

I think they're just doing the usual things—drinking, taking a bath, going to bed early, and so on.

It's just the same—I'm just writing a blog.

 

Another person, seeing me taking photos of various spots on location, said, “Entan likes to write blog posts, so…”

People kind of make fun of me for that lol

That's fine, though.

I guess there's nothing I can do about people thinking that.

That's exactly right, isn't it?

 

So, as for why I'm writing this, it's purely for the sake of putting my thoughts out there.

Once you put information in, you have to get it out!

Writing things down helps me remember them better and builds a database of my experiences.

In a way, this is almost like my personal treasure.

I'm just saving up little by little every day.

It's a "bank of experience." (I keep forgetting things even after I've experienced them, so this is a note to remind myself.)

After all, there’s a good chance that even blog data will eventually be transformed into something else by AI (artificial intelligence).

And, if it helps revitalize the slope stabilization industry even just a little,

There's also the fact that I'd be happy if this could be of help to young engineers.

It’s like, “I don’t even need to ask my mean boss—it’s right here,” lol.

So, that was my take on blogging (I know, it’s probably totally irrelevant, lol).

Once I've learned something, I'll teach it to others.

If you do that, you'll be able to learn something new.
