I believe that as long as the test reliably verifies load-holding capacity at maximum load during the verification test (one cycle)—taking into account the ground conditions—that will be sufficient.

In fact, if you're unable to obtain good data, you'll generally get better results if you apply the maximum load once.

 

I guess the rest is just a battle against that immovable point that I absolutely can't beat, lol.
