Lifting 2 to 5 metric tons with a Claw Jack | Tips for Moving Heavy Objects

Hello, everyone.

This is Enta.

The other day, I went to Itoigawa City to inspect the site and hold a meeting.

I also saw the scene of the fire damage, and it was a terrible sight.

A fire consumes everything in its path.

It reduces everything to nothing.

It's really scary.

We are praying for a swift recovery.

It's not much, but I'll be making a donation to the Red Cross.

It appears that donations are being accepted until Friday, June 30, Heisei 29.

But that's beside the point.

Have you heard of this?

As those of you who do heavy-duty work probably know,

It's called a "nail jack."

Since the claw can lift about 2 metric tons, when moving hydraulic units or similar equipment, you can raise one side, and

We clamp the single pipe in place, then lift the opposite end, clamp the single pipe there, and move it along.

Since it can lift about 5 metric tons in the head section (excluding the claw), it’s quite useful.

However, if you buy a cheap jack of this type, the hydraulic pressure might not return properly, so

We recommend purchasing Japanese brands whenever possible.

By the way, we use the 2-metric-ton model from Masada Manufacturing.

See you later.
