Here's an experience that really drives home the fact that civil engineers can't do their jobs without a PC!

Hello, everyone.

This is Enta.

I use a Let's Note as my business travel laptop, but it suddenly gave out the other day lol

The cause is Windows 11's automatic updates.

Automatic Updates

It downloads files on its own and prompts you to restart the computer on its own.

Well, I'm the type of person who likes to keep things up to date, so I went ahead and restarted it.

And that was the last time it worked—it wouldn't start up anymore...

I've tried all sorts of things, but the BIOS screen won't even come up, so I guess the motherboard's gone too?? lol

Even though I was thinking that, I went ahead and opened it up anyway. (Disassembly)

Then I noticed that the USB port had some white residue on it...

I don't even remember spilling any water...

Since I can't get by on my business trip without one, I'll order it right away!

It's a real pain when your laptop suddenly breaks down lol

I can't go anywhere!!! lol

Civil engineering is one of those professions where you can't do anything without a computer these days, lol.

Please be very careful when upgrading your PC.

By the way, since all the data is stored in the cloud, there are absolutely no problems.

Not too long ago, I would’ve turned pale as a sheet, though lol

See you later.
