How to Calculate Cement Slurry | Basics of Mix Design

Hello, everyone.

This is Enta.

Don't you think it's strangely hot?

But they said it's going to get cold again toward the end of the season!

You're definitely going to get sick! Everyone, please be careful!!

Take to one's bed

But that's beside the point.

Calculations for Cement Milk and Grout

Is everyone measuring out the right amount of cement as usual?

Drill hole diameter × Drill hole length × Cement per unit ÷ Cement per bag = Number of cement bags

Actually...

In the lower right corner of the Shin-Entame Slope Management School website

Grout Calculation Sheet for Drilling

The markings are a little rough, but don't worry about it (lol)

Did you know there are calculations for borehole grouting?

Calculating Cement Slurry

On a screen like this, enter your information on the right side.

Calculating Cement Slurry

Hole diameter 90, drilling depth 10 m, loss ratio 2.3, 1 drill bit

Enter 1,230 kg of cement per cubic meter and 25 kg of cement per bag, and then

BelowCalculation [1]When I press it, it says "7.3 bags."

To the right of that is the actual amount.

I think the bore diameter has changed. Since the nominal diameter set by the government agency differs from the actual measured diameter, a discrepancy arises.

The only item with the same hole diameter is the one designed for φ65.

There is a checkmark in the area marked by this red line.

This is with the left drill bit diameter selected,Calculation [1]If you press it, it automatically sets the diameter to the measured value, but

Uncheck this box to enter the drilling diameter directly in the field below.

I entered a drilling diameter of φ65.

Then, when you press "Calculate," the result will appear below.

This spreadsheet allows you to enter three different types of data.

It seems you can calculate up to three items with different anchor lengths at the same time.

That said, if you have more than that, just use it however you like (lol)

There's also a summary table at the bottom of the page, so please give it a try.

I could easily do calculations like this by hand, but I created this because I don't trust my own mental math.

Plus, since I’m pretty lazy, I wanted to make things as easy as possible, so I gave it a try.

I’ve actually made a lot of other things, but there are some I just can’t share (lol).

Maybe I'll be able to share it when the time comes.

See you later.
