That's the point.
It's not listed in the catalog.
However, if a D29 threaded rebar fits, that means the diameter of the self-drilling bolt is...
It's 28.5 mm, right?
In that case, please use D29.
In reality, the clearance increases by about 0.5 mm, but since the bolt scale is in 1-mm increments, this doesn't seem to be much of a problem.
Problems with Bolt Scale

So, I actually called the agency within the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism that sets the standard values in the specifications, lol.
When I asked, they told me they couldn't say for sure.
I remember it ending with me feeling kind of unsettled after all that mumbo jumbo about government policy lol
In the end, I realized that there are an absurd number of standards out there that are basically useless—whether they exist or not makes no difference.
And I feel like I might have touched on some of the dark underbelly of the country, lol.

I bought a bolt scale two months ago and have been using it ever since!
It's a handy tool, but since we have to check every single one, we end up measuring them all on a bolt scale.
About 500 locations in total.
I managed to convince the general contractor, who said, “If it’s 100% inspection, that means we need photos of every single item, right?”
Even so, there are about 100 photos.
During the final inspection, the client takes random measurements, and apparently, it’s a big problem if the results are off.
(It's pointless to even try measuring the error in the legal framework RB, isn't it?)
I do think so, though...

The administrative burden just keeps growing.

However, as a subcontractor, you’d like to reduce the amount of administrative work, right?
I understand that perfectly well, too.
At my place, too, I'm told to record everything, but I usually set it to around 5%... lol
Honestly, it's such a pointless administrative task! LOL. It actually makes me angry, lol.
Japan, with its highly regulated society, is bound to be pushed around by China, where anything goes, isn't it?
