Beyond the Frenzy | The Evolution of the Slope Specialist

Hello, everyone.

This is Enta.

I’ve been thinking a lot lately—don’t we Japanese tend to look down on foreigners?

To put it another way, I actually think Japanese people are amazing, lol.

There are a ton of people who think the quality of Japanese work is the best in the world.

But is that myth about to crumble now? Or has it already crumbled?

Looking at the big picture, I feel like Japanese people aren't really that big of a deal anymore, lol.

Are Japanese people doing their best?

That’s what I thought when I saw the Vietnamese technical interns who are here now.

What are the Japanese doing?

The ones who act out of control. The ones who do drugs. The ones who steal. The ones who never learn their jobs. The ones who can't even say hello.

And yet, they're the ones who just complain. The ones who blame others. (Just like them.)

What about Vietnamese people and people from other countries?

I'm working hard for my family. There's a lot of competition for jobs.

With the determination to "be the first to get to work!", they keep putting in the effort and quickly learn the ropes.

Even though he doesn't know the words, he understands the signals to some extent. He also understands his job.

They know what I'll be doing tomorrow, and they understand how my work is organized.

They'll do a thorough job in just about two months.

Despite people like that, it seems to me that Japanese people mistakenly believe they are superior simply because they are Japanese.

I've been wondering what's causing this uneasy feeling I have.

Japanese people should try harder.

You should work like crazy.

I should try even harder!

People in Japan today are getting worse and worse.

The era when it was accepted worldwide ended a long time ago, didn't it?

Aren't Japanese people gradually turning into "no-good Japanese"?

Japanese people aren't really that great, you know.

There's a phrase I've been hearing a lot lately.

"It's better to hire foreigners than Japanese people!"

All the construction company presidents who employ technical interns say the same thing.

While this is truly unfortunate, it’s even more solid proof that they’re better than the Japanese.

This really is a problem, isn't it?

That just goes to show that Japanese people don't work that hard, doesn't it?

It's not too late, so Japanese people, please work as hard as you can.

It’s precisely because the Japanese of the past worked like crazy that we have the world we live in today, so if we want to make the future better, we need to work our butts off.

It's definitely a better time than it used to be. It's an era where you can take quite a few shortcuts.

I think it’s easier now than it used to be because there’s no need to do anything unnecessary. You’ve got all the tools you need, right?

Do the best I can with the work I have right nowThat's right. You just go at it full steam ahead.

In this day and age, you have to work like crazy.Don't you think so?

I suppose this means it’s time for me to fully realize that I need to work harder (and I say this as a reminder to myself as well).

Only those who take action can see what lies beyond their relentless efforts.

Beyond the FrenzyLet's go see it together!

See you later.
