Rates for Leveling Material Installation Work | Cost Estimation Information

Hello, everyone.

This is Enta.

The other day, I had a hard time with the leveling mats that go under the pressure plate.

Leveling Mat

This isn't related to the job site, but I ran into a problem because I didn't know which mat to use for the cost estimate.

These days, there are quite a few leveling mats available to place under pressure plates.

From firm mats to super soft ones.

Furthermore, prices vary widely, ranging from about 750 to 10,000 yen per square meter for t=30 mm.

The cheapest option is, of course, styrofoam.

However, since styrofoam-based materials tend to crumble over time due to aging, products without a coating will likely be rejected.

These days, there are some products with high weather resistance, but I think those would cost several thousand yen.

Setting the amount aside for now, I'll apply the cost estimate rate.

I think there are quite a few people who are having trouble with this.

However, please note that I will not disclose the manufacturer’s name, so please use this information for reference only.

Per 10 units: It looks like this rate will apply if scaffolding is in place. (K)

Name Contents Quantity Unit Unit Price Amount
General Civil Engineering Coordinator 1 person 0.5
General Laborer 2 people 1.0
Cost of Materials t = 30 mm 10

For rope scaffolding without scaffolding at 100 locations, select this option. (D)

Name Contents Quantity Unit Unit Price Amount
General Civil Engineering Coordinator 1 person 1
General Laborer 2 people 2
Slope Stabilization Work 2 people 2
Cost of Materials t = 30 mm 100

These are generally typical unit prices, but the source is the manufacturer.

There are other methods, such as injection-type methods, but since those are different techniques, please refer to the relevant section.

This unit price applies strictly to the mat placed under the pressure plate.

I'll write it down on my blog this time so I don't forget, lol.

This is just a personal note, but I’ll also include some things I’ve written on my blog recently...

This is crazy lol

See you later.

You'll just have to ask the client about that.
But I just estimate the cost based on the cheapest option and take the order...
If it's a high-end model, the change might not work, so let's go back to what we were talking about earlier.

If you'd just tell me, though lol
Well, since some contractors have already given me estimates, I can't really say for sure, but I'm glad I found out by asking the materials supplier this time lol.
