Getting Energy from Young Employees | A Growth Phase Where I Eat Three Bowls of Rice

Hello, everyone.

This is Enta.

The other day, I went out for yakiniku with some of my coworkers.

Enta's Yakiniku Party

Of course, there are some employees who can’t go due to work commitments, but I’ll go with everyone as much as possible.

Basically, I don't mind if I don't go—as long as the employees go among themselves, that's fine, but,

Well, if I'm invited, I can't very well say no, can I? lol

However, since so many of our employees are really young, they eat a lot.

3 bowls of riceThey say things like, “Let’s have some sweets,” and then eat dessert after a meal.

It really makes me happy to be able to work with kids like that, doesn't it?

It feels like we're receiving a power that we don't have.

They are our future.

Young People in the Entertainment Industry Are the Treasure of the Future

I want to raise my child well so they can grow up to be a successful adult!

Meals with young people are really delicious.

Back when I was still a rookie director, whenever I went out to eat with an older craftsman,

They kept bringing out dish after dish, urging me to "Eat, eat!" So I was wolfing it down, and the chef was sipping his sake with a smirk on his face, watching me.

Now I understand what that feeling is. It's the urge to let them eat as much as they want.

That really gives you a boost, doesn't it! If you're in your 40s or older, you know exactly what I mean, right? lol

On the other hand, I was talking to a director I know, and—

They say our employees are too young, so stability is inevitably low.

That's exactly right. It's still a bit rough around the edges, and the boss is running around handling everything by himself.

I think it must be really tough for the foremen, but that’s the path I took myself.

I guess I’ll only be able to relax a little once I’ve raised my younger child and things have settled down.

I'm truly grateful to my bosses!

Thank you, boss.

So I told that coach, “If you could just wait about three more years, this team would probably become a lot more stable,” lol.

That said,I do my job thoroughly and meticulously.

It's just that I often end up relying on the director—or rather, there's a lot of inconsistency.

As expected, we can't beat the team with more older members in that department, lol.

In groups with many older members, things tend to move along smoothly almost automatically, even without much conversation, but,

At our place, the boss always cheers us on and gives it his all, lol.

In contrast, the younger kids are responding with things like, “Yes!” “Yes!” and “Got it!”

So, the workplace is really lively lol—in a good way lololol

Next week, the team that's been on a business trip to Shizuoka will be back, so we're planning to go out and have a blast together again.

I've been eating nothing but yakiniku lately, so my stomach is in bad shape.

I'm getting fat from all the meat.

People say it's bad if I stop eating, so I'll force myself to eat! lol

Next time, it would be nice to have something like grilled fish, if possible.

Stomach medicine is a must.

See you later.
